ADEA Continuing Education Advisory Committee

The ADEA Continuing Education Advisory Committee (ADEA CEAC) provides independent peer review and strategic guidance for ADEA’s Continuing Education (CE) program, in accordance with American Dental Association Continuing Education Recognition Program (ADA CERP) standards. ADEA is an ADA CERP-recognized provider.

The ADEA CEAC’s responsibilities include periodic review and refinement of CE goals, evaluation of program effectiveness, input on program objectives and content, identification of educational needs beyond provider perspectives and oversight to prevent and manage conflicts of interest. The Committee also evaluates and implements safeguards to address potential commercial conflicts of interest involving Continuing Dental Education activity planners, course directors and instructors or authors.
