2025 Call for Nominations and Appointments

Take advantage of significant opportunities to develop leadership skills, serve the dental education profession and develop national and international policy.

General Information

• All applicants must be affiliated with an ADEA Member Institution and have active individual ADEA memberships.
• CODA positions require active membership in the American Dental Association.
• The Dean category is only for dental school deans. Other individuals with “Dean” in their titles can apply for committees listed under the Faculty/Staff category.
• Recommendation letters are required for all applicants except Deans and Program Directors. Request a letter as soon as possible from your Dean or Program Director—this step often takes the most time.
• You can work on your application, save it, and come back to it later before submitting.

Submission Process

• After the deadline, all applications are reviewed by selection committees.
• The ADEA Board of Directors will approve final appointments and nominations during its January 2026 meeting.
• Appointments and nominations not requiring approval by the ADEA House of Delegates (ADEA HOD) will be announced after the January 2026 ADEA Board of Directors meeting.
• Appointments and nominations requiring approval by the ADEA HOD will be announced following the 2026 ADEA Annual Session & Exhibition.
