Go to> Content when you need to add a new content item of these:

• News
• Blogs
• Events
• Sponsors
• People
• Resources
• Homepage Carousel Items
• Images
• Documents & Files
• Forms

Page Templates

ADEA.ORG

The template name indicates which components are present. A pre-set Title means the title pulls from the page title automatically.

ADEA will mostly want to use these two templates:

• If you want an interior page with Title and 'In this section': use "Interior - Title, Navigations"
• If you want an interior page with only the Title: use "Interior - Title"
  

These are also available:

• If you want a full width page: use "Blank"
• If you want the interior page columns but no pre-set Title or In this Section: use "Interior-Blank"
• If you want an interior page with only 'In this Section': use "Interior - Navigations"
• If you want an interior page with an image behind the Title and 'In this section': use "Title, Navigations with Background Image."
• If you want an interior page with only the title and an image behind the Title: use "Title with Background Image."

ADEA Go Dental and GIES

ADEA will mostly want to use these two templates:

• If you want an interior page with Title and 'In this section': use "Microsite Interior - Title, Navigations"
• If you want an interior page with only 'In this Section': use "Microsite Interior - Title

An additional template is available:

• If you want the interior page columns but no pre-set Title or In this Section: use  "Microsite Interior Blank"

Understanding Widgets

Sitefinity comes with many widgets. Many are custom styled for your use as part of the content plan. The others would need additional budget/effort to style them. This list will demonstrate which are which.

Content Widgets

• Blog
• Blog posts - not being used. 
  
• Card- can use 'as is', No additional styling or work is planned.
• Comments- not being used
• Reviews- not being used
• Content Block
• Events (to list Events)
• Calendar- can use 'as is', No additional styling or work is planned
• Form
• List- can use 'as is', No additional styling or work is planned. 
• Documents List- can use 'as is', Recommend use Content block.
• Video- not being used. Recommend to embed YouTube or Vimeo code in content blocks.
  
• Video Gallery- not being used
• Document Link
• Image- can use 'as is', Makes it easy to set an image as a link to pages. No additional styling or work is planned.
• Image Gallery - not being used
  
• News- (to list News items)
  
• Feed- not being used

RD

RD has a custom widget called 'Related Content'. ADEA can use the widget 'as is'.

These are list widgets for ADEA's custom Content types.

Reminder about using List Widgets (i.e. News, Events)

Use edit to adjust all three tabs of settings:

1. Content - set which items to list (usually based on date or category)
2. List - set how many items, which list template, and how to Sort (usually by publish date or title)
   
3. Single item - set this to the specific Detail page built for your site
