ADEA represents more than 330 educational institutions and over 2,000 individuals in the allied dental professions across the U.S. and Canada as a core part of its work to prepare future-ready oral health professionals. ADEA serves as the sole voice of the entirety of dental education including dentistry, dental hygiene, dental assisting, dental laboratory technology and dental therapy.

ADEA Council
The purpose of the ADEA Council of Allied Dental Program Directors is to provide representation of all allied dental education programs, to coordinate discussion regarding allied dental education's key issues and to advise the Board of Directors regarding issues affecting the allied dental community.

Application Services
ADEA DHCAS® is the centralized application service for applicants to all levels of dental hygiene education programs: entry level, degree completion and graduate.

ADEA Micro-credentials
The ADEA Micro-credentialing Program is a way to verify that your individual professional development has been put into practice. Earn a micro-credential to clearly communicate your achievements to employers and peers, as well to assist with lifelong learning in allied dental education.

ADEA Institutional Members include accredited dental schools in the United States and Canada, and around the world, as well as advanced, hospital, allied and federal dental education programs.
Predoctoral, allied dental and advanced dental student dues of $40 will be assessed if you are not a student at an ADEA member institution.
