ADEA Council of Students, Residents and Fellows

About the Council

The ADEA Council of Students, Residents and Fellows (COSRF) serves as the voice and advocate for all dental and allied dental students, residents and fellows. COSRF provides a forum for student members to communicate across institutions and disciplines, connect with faculty and administrators and actively engage in shaping the future of dental education.

COSRF plays a central role in the governance of ADEA and offers student members opportunities to develop leadership skills, explore careers in academic dentistry and participate meaningfully in the Association’s policy-making process. All ADEA Student Chapters are represented within COSRF, ensuring that local voices are part of national dialogue.

The ADEA COSRF is represented by its Administrative Board; one member from each from each of the 12 districts recognized by the Council; four advanced dental students, residents or fellows; and six allied dental students. ADEA COSRF is also represented on the ADEA Board of Directors by the Board Director for Students, Residents and Fellows. Council members have a voice in the governance of the Association through representation in the ADEA House of Delegates, the Association’s policymaking body.

ADEA Chapters and Student Leadership

All ADEA Chapters are part of COSRF and serve as local hubs for engagement, service, and leadership development. Chapters function under the guidance of COSRF and their district representatives, helping to implement national initiatives and support student interests at the institutional level.
