ADEA AADSAS Fee Assistance Program: Applications Are Closed, What Applicants Can Expect Next
The ADEA AADSAS® (ADEA Associated American Dental Schools Application Service) Fee Assistance Program (FAP) application window has closed for the 2026–27 cycle. Thank you to all applicants who submitted their applications and to the advisors and pre–health professionals who helped spread the word.
What Happens Next?
Applicants who submitted a FAP application can expect the following:
- FAP decision notifications began June 3. Applicants will be notified via email of their approved, waitlist or denied status.
- Approved applicants will have 30 days to submit their ADEA AADSAS designations. Approved applicants should “Submit All” to submit their three school choices simultaneously; submitting individually with forfeit remaining designations.
- Waitlist applicants have qualified for FAP, but funding has been fully allocated at this time. Additional funding may become available by July 3. We encourage waitlisted applicants to wait until July 3 before submitting their ADEA AADSAS application as submitting prior to receiving FAP approval will disqualify them from using FAP funding.
- Denied applicants may log into ADEA AADSAS and submit their designations at any time between now and the close of the cycle on Feb. 5, 2027. The cost of designations will be the applicant’s responsibility.
Applicants are advised to keep a close eye on their email inboxes and to check their spam and junk folders regularly.
Additional information and guidance are available at the FAP Help Center.
Applicants with questions may also contact the FAP team directly at FAPAADSAS@adea.org.
