Congratulations to Marion C. Manski, M.S., RDH, for being selected as the second recipient of the 2025 American Dental Hygienists’ Association (ADHA) Ann Battrell Visionary Legacy Award. The award recognizes and celebrates the lifetime achievements of professionals who have devoted the majority of their professional career to the service and practice of dental hygiene, embodying both leadership and innovation in their actions and legacy. The award is sponsored by Crest Oral-B.

Marion C. Manski, M.S., RDH

Prof. Manski will attend the awards ceremony at the ADHA25 Annual Conference in Long Beach, CA, on Oct. 4, 2025.

Prof. Manski is a nationally recognized leader in dental hygiene education and a passionate advocate for advancing the profession. She serves as Director of the Dental Hygiene Program and Associate Professor at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry. She also is the Board Director of the ADEA Council of Allied Dental Program Directors.

Prof. Manski began her academic journey at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences Forsyth School of Dental Hygiene and earned both her B.S.D.H. and M.S. degrees from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry.
