San Francisco City Hall Lights Up in Purple to Honor National Dental Hygiene Month

Several Dugoni School dental hygiene students and faculty joined members of the San Francisco Dental Hygiene Society at the city hall to celebrate National Dental Hygiene Month. “Since 1897, the color purple is synonymous with dental hygiene, and it has been the official color of dental professionals. It is said to signify compassion, purpose and inspiration,” said Michael Long, B.S.D.H., RDHAP, a part-time faculty member at Dugoni School.
