ADEA Chapter Student Officer Positions
An effective student chapter requires leadership among its key members.
Help plan, schedule and implement events and activities that carry out the vision of your chapter and the mission of ADEA. As a student officer, your responsibilities will include managing the everyday operations of your chapter, including maintaining a chapter calendar, compiling a roster of members, recording chapter activities, etc. Though, the number roles and positions available may vary by your chapter size and specific needs. To serve, your ADEA membership must be in good standing.

ADEA District Commissioners Panel
ADEA COSRF District Commissioners are ADEA student House of Delegates members who serve as the liaison for students within each of the 12 identified ADEA COSRF districts.
District Commissioners serve as the primary contact for students within their given district.
ADEA COSRF Administrative Board
Be the voice representing students in dental, allied dental and advanced dental education programs through the ADEA Council of Students, Residents and Fellows (ADEA COSRF).
ADEA COSRF is led by an administrative board consisting of a:
- Board of Director
- Chair
- Vice Chair
- Secretary
- Member-at-Large

ADEA Student Diversity Leadership Program
The ADEA Student Diversity Leadership Program (ADEA SDLP) engages dental students from across the United States and Canada in a partnership for action, dialogue and collaboration.
Critical ADEA SDLP components include:
- Professional development and learning opportunities for students, offered by the ADEA Access, Diversity and Inclusion arm;
- Active engagement around topics of effective and ethical leadership, problem-solving and access to mentors and sponsors;
- Development of an individualized leadership plan with resources;
- Exploration of leadership issues related to inclusive excellence, oral health disparities, and serving underresourced communities; and
- Avenues for supporting and fostering self-care, balance and well-being.
ADEA Academic Dental Careers Fellowship Program
The ADEA Academic Dental Careers Fellowship Program (ADEA ADCFP) offers dental, allied dental and advanced dental students the chance to become more involved in academia. Enjoy structured mentoring and insight into what an academic career involves.
To date, over 400 students have completed the program—representing 36 U.S. and Canadian academic dental institutions.
