While we look forward to an in-person conference, there is no higher priority than the safety and well-being of ADEA members and staff. Accordingly, we continue to monitor the status of the COVID-19 variants and their impact on the operational status of our ADEA Member Institutions.

Should it become necessary, ADEA will implement health and safety protocols appropriate to the public health circumstances existing at the time of the conference. Compliance with some or all the protocols adopted by ADEA will be mandatory for in-person attendance and participation at the conference by members, guests of members, sponsors, staff, etc. Additional information regarding the specific health and safety measures, and any necessary consents by attendees, will be communicated prior to the first day of the conference. Failure to adhere to or comply with the safety protocols in place may result in removal from the event and/or event premises.

Hotel room reservations can be made online, by calling 1-415-563-0303 or by directly calling the hotel’s reservation department at 1-888-539-7510.

• The negotiated room rate for ADEA attendees is $259 per night for single/double occupancy, plus applicable taxes (currently 16.445%).
• The deadline to make hotel reservations at the group rate is Friday, Oct. 6, or when the group rate rooms sell out, whichever occurs first. After Oct. 6, reservations at the group rate will be accepted only on a space-available basis. The room block may fill before Friday, Oct. 6, so we encourage you to make reservations early.
• Please contact the hotel directly if you need to cancel your reservation. Reservations may be cancelled up to 72 hours prior to your reserved arrival date at no charge. For cancellations made after the time noted, the hotel will retain the room deposit of one night plus applicable taxes.
• Early hotel check-out will incur a fee equal to one room night plus applicable tax.
• Hotel check-in time is 3:00 p.m. or earlier as rooms become available. Check-out time is noon. Please contact the hotel directly if you need to cancel your hotel reservation.
• You are responsible for making your hotel arrangements directly with the property. The registration fee does not include hotel arrangements, flight or ground transportation or any incidentals related to traveling to the meeting.

The ADEA hotel block rates are available three days before and after the program dates based on guest room availability.

The closest airport is San Francisco International Airport. The hotel is approximately 13 miles from the airport or a 22-minute ride, depending on traffic.

Taxi service is available at the curb on the lower level of the airport terminal just outside of baggage claim. There is a $30 minimum charge for all fares from the airport, regardless of distance.

Uber and Lyft services are available from the airport to The Hotel Zeppelin San Francisco. When using these services for pick-up, exit the terminal to the ground transportation center on the first floor of the terminal garage.

Attire for the meeting is business casual. We also recommend layers to offset temperature fluctuations across meeting spaces.

To provide an appropriate professional setting, children and spouses/guests are not permitted to attend any 2023 ADEA Leadership Institute Phase V events.

The ADEA Phase V program is a highly interactive experience and participants are expected to attend all meal, reception and team-building activities. We appreciate your understanding of this policy.

To provide an appropriate professional setting, ADEA does not allow children under the age of 18 to attend any conference functions. We request that you arrange for the supervision of children who accompany you.

Speaker presentations will be provided in the online program planner, which will be made available closer to the event.
