Working together across
international borders to help reach World Health Organization oral health
objectives and share ideas that can be implemented at dental educational
institutions in both the United States and Europe were some of the major objectives
for the 20 ADEA members who attended the 2023 Annual Meeting of the Association
for Dental Education in Europe.
October is National Dental Hygiene Month
Celebrate National Hygiene Month 2023 with the American Dental Hygienists’ Association. This year’s theme of “Everyday Extraordinary” highlights the changes driven by daily work with patients, advancing oral health in communities and upholding high standards of practice.
Growing community needs
prompted Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine-Arizona’s and Rio
Salado College’s partnership to create more opportunities for dental hygiene students.
The collaboration promises to be a long-term endeavor that will significantly
impact the careers of aspiring dental hygienists with enhanced training and
education.
