The 2021 ADEA Allied Dental Faculty Leadership Development Program, “Leadership Development Through Self-reflection and Inspiration,” will be held as a virtual program from Aug. 11−14.


The ADEA Allied Dental Faculty Leadership Development Program is designed for faculty and program directors in dental assisting, dental hygiene, dental laboratory technology and dental therapy programs with the potential to make significant contributions to allied dental education.


The program provides participants with a unique opportunity to assess their current leadership skills and build on them while developing relationships with a small group of participants facilitated by an advisor. This empowering program provides individual coaching, mentoring and creates an outstanding network of colleagues.

The virtual conference will start on Wednesday, Aug. 11 at 11:00 a.m. Eastern Time and end on Saturday, Aug. 14 at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time.

Registration includes access to all events.


▷ How can I address registration issues/changes?

▷ I’m not a member. Can I participate?

No. Only ADEA members can apply to and register for the program.


▷ Can I register my colleagues for these events?

No. Each individual must complete their own registration.


▷ Can I share my virtual conference login information with other members of my team?

For each individual registered to attend virtually, only one device (computer, laptop, tablet, phone) will be allowed to enter the virtual conference.

 

▷ How do I join the virtual event?

  • Click the “Access Virtual Event” button in your virtual invitation email or virtual reminder emails, which will be sent each morning during the program.
  • Only accepted applicants will be allowed to enter the virtual conference.

▷ Are CE credits offered for this conference? If so, how can I obtain CE credits?

The American Dental Education Association is an ADA CERP Recognized Provider. ADA CERP is a service of the American Dental Association to assist dental professionals in identifying quality providers of continuing dental education. ADA CERP does not approve or endorse individual courses or instructors, nor does it imply acceptance of credit hours by boards of dentistry.

Continuing education credit is awarded for participation in the entire 2021 Allied Dental Faculty Leadership Development Program, attendance.

CE Credits: To receive CE credits, please complete the evaluation process after the entire program has been completed. Evaluations will be emailed to attendees by Aug. 16, 2021 and must be completed by Aug. 31, 2021.
