The 2010 ADEA Annual Session & Exhibition is jam-packed with stellar speakers including National Public Radio political correspondent Mara Liasson, award-winning news anchor J.C. Hayward from Washington, DC's WUSA 9 NEWS NOW, photographic artist Chris Jordan, and web journalist Amber MacArthur. Rene Syler, former co-anchor of CBS's The Early Show, will sign copies of her book, Good Enough Mother, before the presentation of The William J. Gies Awards for Vision, Innovation, and Achievement.
There are literally hundreds of opportunities to advance your knowledge of dental education. Faculty Development Workshops (FDWs) are blocks of time to learn in depth about new strategies, tools, and models, and Lunch & Learn sessions are informal discussions of critical issues over lunch. Space is still available in some FDWs and Lunch & Learns. Don't miss out on these and other unique experiences; you can read about them all in the program:
- The Connecting with Colleagues reception in the Exhibit Hall
- The reception for First Timers, New ADEA Members, and Mentors and Mentees
- The ADEA Workshop and Recruitment Fair for Predental Students and Advisors on Saturday, February 27
- 95 Exhibit Hall booths showcasing 65 companies
All are encouraged to attend the first-ever ADEA President's Reception and Dance, featuring a premier D.C. dance band. You can join ADEA President Ronald J. Hunt for an informal night of fun with your colleagues. This is a ticketed event that requires advance registration.
If you cannot afford the time or expense of attending the full conference, the 2010 ADEA Annual Session & Exhibition offers one-day registrations for reduced fees. Enjoy the full conference activities for that day and gain valuable insight into dental education.
