Seattle-based photographic artist Chris Jordan will kick things off at the ADEA Opening Plenary. Mr. Jordan is an internationally acclaimed artist and spokesperson for social change. His thought-provoking images have been featured in hundreds of magazines, newspapers, films, television shows, books, and blogs around the world. Mr. Jordan's exhibits have appeared at art museums, festivals, and public venues on four continents.

This year's ADEA Political Spotlight features National Public Radio (NPR) national political correspondent Mara Liasson. Heard on the award-winning "All Things Considered" and "Morning Edition," she has covered the 1992, 1996, and 2000 presidential elections and was NPR's White House correspondent during the Clinton administration.

A pioneering and popular web journalist, Amber MacArthur speaks at the Tuesday morning ADEA Plenary: Portrait of the Future. In podcasts and on television, Ms. MacArthur traces the impact of emerging technologies on the way people live, work, and play. Co-founder of both MGI Media and Arktyp, she has also worked for the CBC, CityTV, and G4TechTV.

The ADEA Discourse & Dessert evening plenary features J.C. Hayward, Washington, DC's first woman news anchor. Recently celebrating her 36th year of broadcasting at WUSA 9, Ms. Hayward is consistently rated one of the top news broadcasters in the DC metro area and was once voted Washingtonian magazine's "Washingtonian of the Year." Ms. Hayward will discuss women's career trajectories and variations on their paths to achievement.
