ADEA Survey of Dental School Seniors, 2011 Graduating Class

ADEA Survey of Dental School Seniors, 2011 Graduating Class

The annual survey of dental school seniors conducted by the American Dental Education Association (ADEA) collects information on selected characteristics and opinions of graduating seniors from U.S. dental schools. The survey seeks information across a wide range of areas, including the reasons students pursued a career in dentistry, how students financed their dental education, students' educational debt, their practice and advanced education plans following graduation, and their opinions of the time spent on instruction in various subject areas.

ADEA distributes the online survey instrument to each dental school. For the 2011 survey, students completed and submitted an electronic survey. For the 2011 survey, the overall response rate for graduating seniors was 85 percent.
