The deadline for all conference registrations is Wednesday, Oct. 2. After this date, registrations will only be taken onsite during registration hours.

 

Blue Reserve Hotel Button

  • You can make your reservations online or by calling (800) 996-0510 and request the ADEA group rate.
    A deposit by major credit card is required at the time of booking. 
  • The deadline to make hotel reservations at the group rate is Wednesday, Oct. 2 or when the group rate rooms sell out, whichever occurs first. After Oct. 2, reservations at the group rate will be accepted only on a space available basis. 
  • Reservations may be cancelled up to 72 hours prior to reserved arrival date at no charge. For cancellations made after the time noted, the hotel will retain the room deposit of one night plus applicable taxes. 
  • Hotel check-in time is 4:00 p.m. or earlier, as rooms become available. Check-out time is noon.
  • Please contact the hotel directly should you need to cancel your hotel reservation.
  • You are responsible for making your hotel arrangements directly with the property. The meeting registration fee does not include hotel arrangements, flight, ground transportation or any incidentals related to traveling to the workshop.

 

If the hotel has available rooms, conference participants may extend their reservations at ADEA conference rates three days before and after the meeting.

 

The main airport is Portland International Airport (PDX).

A taxi/Uber ride to and from the airport is approximately 15-30 minutes depending on traffic.

 

The closest airport to the meeting location is Portland International Airport (PDX). The hotel is approximately nine miles from the airport or a 20-minute ride depending on traffic.

Following are travel options to and from the airport:

➤ Portland MAX Light Rail from PDX to the hotel

The trip between the airport and downtown Portland takes about 38 minutes and costs approximately $2.50 for one adult ticket. Trains run about every 15 minutes. MAX ticket machines return change in coins, so small bills are recommended.

  1.  At PDX, walk to the end of the baggage claim area.
  2.  Board the Red Line MAX to City Center & Beaverton Transit Center.
  3.  Exit the train at Lloyd Center/NE 11th Avenue MAX Station.
  4.  Turn left and walk half a block west to hotel

Taxi/Uber:

  • A taxi/Uber ride to and from the airport is approximately 15−30 minutes depending on traffic.
  • The average cost of a taxi ride to and from the airport is approximately $27−$33.

 

If you made special dietary requests when registering for the conference, please identify yourself to the waitstaff during all meal functions so they can provide you with the appropriate meal.

 

Attire for this meeting is business casual, but be sure to check the local weather forecast to determine more specific attire.

 

The hotel website provides information on the many amenities offered through the hotel or near the property.

 

There are several restaurants on the hotel property.

 

Guest registration is limited to one adult guest (18 years or older) who is not a dental education colleague.

The registered adult guest may attend all meal functions and evening receptions.

 

To receive a refund for your conference registration:

  • You must submit a written cancellation by Wednesday, Oct. 2, to Shalonda King at KingS@adea.org.
  • ADEA issues refunds—minus a $75 processing fee—after the meeting’s conclusion. 
  • A cancellation received after Oct. 2, is not eligible for a refund or credit.
  • Refunds or credits will not be given for failure to attend, late arrival, unattended events or early departure.
