Letters of Evaluation
The response you type will appear in your application exactly as
you type it. Using all capital letters or not capitalizing properly
does not present a professional image to your application.
You may submit up to three Letters of Evaluation from dental
school faculty members or others to accompany your ADEA CAAPID
application. Prior to providing names in the Letter of Evaluation
Section of the ADEA CAAPID application, applicants should ask
individuals if they are willing to serve as evaluators. If so, ask
each evaluator if he or she wishes to provide the Letter of
Evaluation to ADEA CAAPID electronically or prefers to provide a
paper letter that is mailed to ADEA CAAPID. If the evaluator is
sending a letter electronically, ADEA CAAPID needs the evaluator's
email address so ADEA CAAPID can send a message to the evaluator
that explains the process for electronic submission. ADEA CAAPID
will distribute a copy of the Letter of Evaluation submitted on
your behalf to all of the dental school programs that you
designate. Your evaluators may opt to send their Letter of
Evaluation either electronically or by submitting a paper letter
through the mail.We encourage you to ask your Evaluators to submit
their letters electronically; doing so expedites the completion of
your application. Note: Letters of Evaluation sent to ADEA CAAPID
but not listed in your ADEA CAAPID application will not be
forwarded to your designated programs.
In the "Letter of Evaluation" Section of the ADEA CAAPID
application, the applicant:
-
Indicates the individuals who will provide Letter of Evaluations on
his or her
behalf
- Indicates which format each evaluator will use,
electronic or paper.
