The registration deadline is Tuesday, Sept. 17. After Sept. 17, registrations will only be taken on site.

Blue Reserve Hotel Button

  • The room rate for ADEA attendees is $189 per night, single or double occupancy, plus applicable taxes (currently 13.15%). 
  • The rate for each additional person, age 18 and older, is $25 plus applicable taxes, per person, per night. 
  • All rates are per room, per night and are subject to a 13.15% room tax. 
  • Rates are available three days before and after the conference, based on availability.

You can make your reservations online or by calling (612) 370-1234 to receive ADEA’s discounted rate and request the ADEA group rate. A deposit by major credit card is required at the time of booking.

The deadline to make hotel reservations at the group rate is Tuesday, Sept. 17, 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time or when the group rate rooms sell out, whichever occurs first. After Sept. 17, reservations at the group rate will be accepted only on a space available basis. The room block may fill before Sept. 17, so we encourage you to make your reservations early.

Reservations may be cancelled up to 72 hours prior to reserved arrival date at no charge. For cancellations made after the time noted, the hotel will retain the room deposit of one night plus applicable taxes. 

Hotel check-in time is 3:00 p.m. or earlier as rooms become available. Check-out time is noon. Please contact the hotel directly should you need to cancel your hotel reservation.

You are responsible for making your hotel arrangements directly with the property. The meeting registration fee does not include hotel arrangements, flight, ground transportation or any incidentals related to traveling to the workshop.

The program will begin with an ADEA Corporate Meet & Greet and Welcome Reception at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 16, and will conclude at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 19

The ADEA hotel block rates are available three days before and after the program dates based on guest room availability.

The Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport (MSP) is approximately 12 miles away.

Air Travel Advisory: Starting Jan. 2018, passengers who have driver’s licenses issued by a state that is not yet compliant with REAL ID and that has not received an extension will need to show an alternative form of acceptable identification for domestic air travel. You can check here to see if your state is REAL ID compliant.

Passed by Congress in 2005, the REAL ID Act established minimum security standards for state-issued driver’s licenses and identification cards and prohibits federal agencies, like Transportation Security Administration, from accepting licenses and identification cards for official purposes from states that do not meet these standards.

Blue and white taxis are available to and from the Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport. The one-way fare to the airport is approximately $40−50.

Please note: A $6.25 fare will be displayed on the taxicab meter at the onset of your trip.

To provide an appropriate professional setting, ADEA does not allow children under the age of 18 to attend any conference functions. We request that you arrange for the supervision of children that accompany you.

To receive a refund for your conference registration, you must submit a written cancellation by Tuesday, Sept. 17, to Shalonda King at ADEA will issue a refund—minus an individual $75 processing fee—after the meeting’s conclusion. Cancellation requests received after Sept. 17 are not eligible for refund or credit. Refunds or credits will not be given for failure to attend, late arrival, unattended events or early departure.
