One of students’ biggest
fears is missing dental school deadlines. It’s important to remind students
that:
- Each dental school determines its individual deadline date, which is the last date applicants can submit their ADEA AADSAS® applications. ADEA AADSAS applications must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. (Eastern Time) on the deadline date(s). Applicants should verify the deadline at each dental school they are applying to.
- Dental schools will consider for admission those applicants whose ADEA AADSAS application (which includes letters of recommendation, fee payment and official transcripts) are received at ADEA AADSAS by the stated deadline.
- Dental schools may have additional program or school-specific admissions requirements, due by the dental schools’ deadline dates, for applications to be considered for admission. Applicants should verify this with each dental school they are applying to.
“How long until I know whether I’ve been accepted?” Students will continue asking you this question so be prepared with the answer! Inform students that after their applications have been submitted to ADEA AADSAS and have a “Complete” status, they should allow four to six weeks for ADEA AADSAS to process the applications.
