The American Dental Education Association (ADEA) is committed to ensuring health professions advisors have the necessary tools to successfully advise students interested in pursuing careers in dentistry. Based on survey results and in-person interviews with members of the health professions advising community, we have developed six best practices. We hope these ideas will provide guidance when helping students become thoughtful, well-prepared and viable dental school candidates.
