Carol A. Bibb, Ph.D., D.D.S.
Clinical Professor
Associate Dean for Student and Alumni Affairs
University of California, Los Angeles, School of Dentistry  

Dr. Bibb is the Associate Dean of Student and Alumni Affairs and a Clinical Professor of Oral Biology and Medicine the University of California, Los Angeles, School of Dentistry (UCLA SOD). She received her Ph.D. in Developmental and Cell Biology from UC Irvine in 1971 and her D.D.S. from UCLA SOD in 1978. Dr. Bibb joined UCLA SOD’s faculty in 1979 on a part-time basis in combination with a general dentistry private practice, and received a full-time faculty appointment in 1993. She served as Student Clinic Director for five years prior to her current appointment as Associate Dean in January 2005. In addition to her responsibility for student services, including recruitment and admission, Dr. Bibb is a dedicated teacher who chairs the first-year course in Dental Morphology and co-chairs the Introduction to the Dental Profession course. Dr. Bibb has a special interest in mentoring future dental educators through innovative teaching apprenticeships and serving as a co-director of the UCLA Academic Track program for future academic dentists.

Stan Constantino
Director of Admissions 
University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry

Mr. Constantino is Director of Admissions at University of the Pacific, Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry (Pacific Dugoni) in San Francisco, the nation’s only accelerated, three-year predoctoral dental education program. He is responsible for the recruitment and enrollment of the dental school’s predoctoral students and for predental outreach programs. A member of Pacific Dugoni’s Executive Admissions Committee, Mr. Constantino supports the school’s humanistic model of education, which respects the dignity of each individual and fosters limitless potential for growth, and the school’s efforts in diversity, access, equity and inclusion.  Mr. Constantino serves as diversity lead for University of the Pacific’s San Francisco Campus and chair of the Dugoni School’s Diversity Committee. Prior to his work in higher education, Mr. Constantino worked in corporate communications as well as television news in San Francisco. The Hawaii native completed his undergraduate and graduate studies from University of Hawaii and University of San Francisco respectively.

Julia Hwang, M.A. (moderator)
Director of Admissions and Outreach
University of California, San Francisco School of Dentistry

Ms. Hwang is Director of Admissions and Outreach at the University of California, San Francisco, School of Dentistry (UCSF SOD). She oversees all aspects of admissions, from outreach activities to coordination of the admissions committee to bringing in the best class of dental students. Prior to joining UCSF SOD, Ms. Hwang was Assistant Dean of the MBA Career Management Group and Corporate Engagement at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business. She oversaw career services for all MBA students and alumni. Previously, she was Executive Director of the Full-Time MBA Program Office, where she served as the Dean of Students. Prior to joining UC Berkeley, Ms. Hwang served in many roles at the New York University Stern School of Business, including Dean of MBA Admissions and Director of Student Services. She also worked at the Embassy of Japan, coordinating the Japan Exchange.

Jeffrey Turchi, D.D.S.
Assistant Professor, Manager of Recruitment & Admissions, Coordinator of Continuing Education
Western University of Health Sciences College of Dental Medicine

Dr. Turchi began practicing general dentistry after graduating from the Arthur A. Dugoni University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in 1988. He currently is an Assistant Professor, Manager of Admissions and Recruiting, and Continuing Education Coordinator at Western University of Health Sciences College of Dental Medicine. He was also Group Practice Director at the University of California, Los Angeles, School of Dentistry and Director of Educational and Clinical Affairs and Senior Product Manager for J. Morita USA. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the Orange County Dental Society, and the American Dental Education Association, where he is a member of the ADEA GoDental Task Force. 

Zach Woolfork 
Admissions Coordinator and Counselor
Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC 

Mr. Woolfork has been with the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC (OSD USC) for nearly five years. He recruits students for the dental and dental hygiene programs and the summer academic enrichment program, Dental Explorers. He manages OSD USC’s involvement in the dental (ADEA AADSAS®), dental hygiene (ADEA DHCAS®), international (ADEA CAAPID®), and advanced dental education (ADEA PASS®) application services and serves on the ADEA AADSAS and ADEA DHCAS task forces. He belongs to the ADEA Section on Admissions, Financial Aid, and Student Affairs. Mr. Woolfork has a B.A. in Graphic Design and is a Master’s degree candidate in Communication Management at the USC Annenberg School of Communications and Journalism.
