The virtual event will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 28 from 3:30 to 4:45 p.m. Eastern Time.


The ADEA Diversity Workshop Series provides dental school administrators, faculty and staff with the tools and strategies to promote and capitalize on the role of diversity in achieving academic excellence within health professions education.


Registration for all events is complimentary and includes access to the event and exclusive on-demand content.

The virtual 2020 ADEA Diversity & Inclusion Workshop will feature speaker, model, actress, author, advocate and activist, Dominique Jackson.

Yes this session will be recorded and will be placed online at adea.org/eLearn in a few weeks.

 

Registration for all events is free and includes access to on-demand content.


▷ How do I Register?

  1. Click the REGISTRATION button on the registration page.
  2. Upon registration, you will receive a confirmation email message.
  3. Upon completion of registration, you will be given an option to add this event to your calendar.

Yes. This event is open to ADEA members and non-members.


▷ Can I register my colleagues for these events?

No. Group registration is not possible for these events. Individual registrations are required.


▷ Can I share my virtual conference login information with other members of my team?

For each individual registered to attend virtually, only one device (computer, laptop, tablet, phone) will be allowed to enter the virtual conference.

 

▷ How do I join the virtual event?

Click the “Access Virtual Event” button found in your registration confirmation or event reminder email.

The 2020 ADEA Diversity & Inclusion Workshop, ADEA Tapestry Table On-Demand is eligible for CE and is accessible in the ADEA eLearn library.

 

▷ Are CE credits available for these sessions? If so, how can I obtain CE credits?

To receive CE credit, please complete the evaluation process for all eligible attended sessions. Education session evaluations will be emailed to attendees by Friday, October 30, 2020 and must be completed by Monday, Nov. 9, 2020.


ADEA is an ADA CERP Recognized Provider. ADA CERP is a service of the American Dental Association to assist dental professionals in identifying quality providers of continuing dental education. ADA CERP does not approve or endorse individual courses or instructors, nor does it imply acceptance of credit hours by boards of dentistry.


Continuing education credit is awarded for participation in individual designated educational sessions and not for overall 2020 ADEA Fall Meetings attendance.
