Méndez School of Dental Medicine is set to welcome its inaugural class of 45 students in August 2024 to educate future dentists through a team-based comprehensive patient management and care approach. The educational program is designed to improve the oral health and access to oral health care of communities, but also to address the shortage of dental health care professionals in Puerto Rico and in the United States.
