The registration deadline is Thursday, May 12. After May 12, registrations will only be taken onsite.


While we look forward to the return of a face-to-face conference, there is no higher priority than the safety and well-being of ADEA members and staff. Accordingly, we continue to monitor the status of the COVID-19 variants and their impact on the operational status of our ADEA Member Institutions.

ADEA will implement health and safety protocols appropriate to the public health circumstances existing at the time of the conference. Those protocols may include, but are not limited to:

  • Testing;
  • Proof of negative COVID-19 status and/or vaccination and/or antibody status;
  • Self-monitoring;
  • Biometric screening;
  • Symptom checkers;
  • Contact tracing;
  • “Wearing a mask” mandate;
  • Use of additional personal protective equipment, social distancing and space management; and
  • Other similar measures, etc.

These protocols may be updated or adjusted.

Compliance with some or all the protocols adopted by ADEA will be mandatory for in-person attendance and participation at the conference. Additional information regarding the specific health and safety measures, and any necessary consents by you, will be communicated prior to the first day of the conference.

Failure to adhere to or comply with the safety protocols in place may result in removal from the event and/or event premises. Be sure to check the conference website periodically for the latest conference updates.


Hotel room reservations can be made online or by calling 800-HILTONS.  Please mention the 3-letter booking code which is: ADE for the ADEA Allied group.

  • The negotiated room rate for ADEA attendees is $199 per night for single/double occupancy, plus applicable taxes (currently 16%).
  • The deadline to make hotel reservations at the group rate is Thursday, May 12, or when the group rate rooms sell out, whichever occurs first. After May 12, reservations at the group rate will be accepted only on a space-available basis. The room block may fill before May 12 so we encourage you to make your reservations early.
  • Reservations may be cancelled up to 48 hours prior to your reserved arrival date at no charge. For cancellations made after the time noted, the hotel will retain the room deposit of one night plus applicable taxes.
  • Hotel check-in time is 4:00 p.m. or earlier as rooms become available. Check-out time is noon. Please contact the hotel directly if you need to cancel your hotel reservation.
  • You are responsible for making your hotel arrangements directly with the property. The registration fee does not include hotel arrangements, flight or ground transportation or any incidentals related to traveling to the workshop.


  • New attendees should plan to attend Saturday, June 4, 11:00 a.m. to Tuesday, June 7, at noon. 
  • Other attendees should plan to attend Saturday, June 4, at noon to Tuesday, June 7, at noon. 
  • If attendees do not want to participate in accreditation preparation sessions, the program ends Monday, June 6, at 3:00 p.m. 

There is a special DHCAS event for dental hygiene program directors on Saturday, June 4, from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. You must pre-register and seats are first-come, first-served. 


The ADEA hotel block rates are available three days before and after the program dates based on guest room availability.


The closest airport is Portland International Airport. The hotel is approximately 10 miles from the airport or a 20-minute ride, depending on traffic.

Guest registration is limited to one adult guest (18 years or older) who is not a dental education colleague.

The registered adult guest may attend all Saturday and Sunday evening events. Individuals under the age of 21 are not permitted at events where alcohol is served.


To provide an appropriate professional setting, ADEA does not allow children under age 18 to attend any conference functions or programming.

To receive a refund for your conference registration, you must submit a written cancellation by Thursday, May 12, to Shalonda King at

ADEA will issue a refund—minus an individual $75 processing fee—after the meeting’s conclusion. Cancellation requests received after May 12 are not eligible for refund or credit. Refunds or credits will not be given for failure to attend, late arrival, unattended events or early departure.
