the promotion of Dr. Bateman, former Dean of LECOM SDM, Thomas Yoon, D.D.S.,
was selected to serve as the newly appointed Dean of the LECOM SDM. The LECOM

his outstanding service to the LECOM community and his leadership experience.

clinical and didactic areas of periodontology. His qualifications as a dentist
were earned during his doctoral program at the University of Missouri – Kansas

FL. Dr. Yoon then continued at UF COD where he completed a Master of Science in

Yoon embraced his passion for dental education and administration shortly after
joining the LECOM faculty. In 2018, Dr. Yoon earned his master’s degree in

LECOM SDM for several clinical education courses.
