Discover a new approach to team-based education and practice with the 2019 Excellence in IPE Award winners from the Crimson Care Collaborative (CCC), a student-faculty practice group started by Harvard Medical School students and the Massachusetts General Hospital Stoeckle Center for Primary Care.

Patricia A. Reidy, D.N.P., FNP-BC, and Marya J. Cohen, M.D., M.P.H, will share details related to CCC’s network of student-faculty collaborative practices focused on interprofessional education opportunities.

Gain actionable insights as Drs. Reidy and Cohen discuss the foundations of their award-winning project. Details for the 2020 U.S. Public Health Service (USPHS) IPEC Award cycle will also be shared during this presentation.

As a student-administered clinic, CCC’s unique practice model was built from the ground up, wherein students were involved in all aspects of operations, financial planning and social services for the practice.

Eligible attendees may receive one Certified in Public Health (CPH) continuing education credit or one Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) contact hour.
