Millions of people benefit by gaining insight and perspective on the critical issues facing oral health and dental care. ADEA Advocacy Day aims to inspire dialogue and empower individuals and policy makers to take action.

Engage on behalf of our profession, our community and persons in need of care! Help us increase funding for oral health research and dental education by highlighting the economic impact, importance and promise of research supported by the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR). During ADEA Advocacy Day, dental educators, dental and craniofacial researchers and dental students will come together to tell members of Congress why funding for oral health training programs and NIDCR is critically important for the oral health and overall well-being of individuals across our nation.

Together Our Voice Is Stronger! On Tuesday, Sept. 18, let’s gather on Capitol Hill to speak as one voice and urge Members of Congress to support fiscal year 2019 funding for dental and allied dental training programs and dental and craniofacial research. Share your stories on how NIDCR funding supports necessary research in your school and the greater community.

Can’t make it in person? Participate virtually! Message Members of Congress in minutes using the ADEA Advocacy site and share your advocacy story online via your social channels. Affiliate materials are also available for download.

Sign up now for updates and sample messages to send to Congress!
