NYU Langone Dental Medicine Pediatric Dentistry Residents Score Highest in the Country

Ferishta Faqeeri, D.M.D., received the James R. Roche Award of Excellence, given by The Foundation of the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry (ABPB) to the candidate who achieves the highest score on the qualifying examination. Dr. Faqeeri will receive recognition of her extraordinary achievement with the presentation of a plaque and a $1,000 honorarium at the Recognition Reception and New Diplomate Pinning Ceremony of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry in May during the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry 72nd Annual Session in Chicago.

Dr. Faqeeri graduated in 2018 from the NYU Langone Dental Medicine Advanced Education in Pediatric Dentistry Program (from its Nashville, TN location). Three additional NYU Langone Dental Medicine Pediatric Dentistry Program graduates received the Richard C. Pugh Achievement Award for scoring in the top 3% on the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry written qualifying exam. 2018 recipients included Bradley Crossfield, D.D.S. (Tennessee site), Brian Darling, D.D.S. (Rhode Island site), and Allison Inouye, D.D.S. (Arizona site). Dr. Richard Pugh was the ABPD’s Educational Measurement Consultant for 28 years and retired in 1998.
