After eight years as dean in Nebraska, Janet Guthmiller, D.D.S., Ph.D., will begin her new role as dean of the highly ranked University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Adams School of Dentistry (UNC SOD) on Oct. 15.
Dr. Guthmiller, Dean of the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry, has been named Dean of UNC SOD, Chancellor Kevin M. Guskiewicz and Provost and Chief Academic Officer J. Christopher Clemens announced in a campus message May 11. She will also hold
the Claude A. Adams Distinguished Professorship.
