To adapt to these uncertain times, IPEC has decided to transform the Dec. 7−9, 2020 IPEC Faculty Development Institute into a fully virtual event that will offer the interprofessional education (IPE) community the possibility for educational exchanges and best practice updates while protecting the safety, health and well-being of all Institute participants.
The virtual IPEC Institute will still address the theme of building a framework for IPE for collaborative practice, and is now planned for Dec. 1, 3, 8 and 10. Online sessions will allow for live interaction and will be available on-demand in the weeks following the Institute. Early bird registration is now open at ipecollaborative.org.
IPEC is working to transform the Institute into a new, exciting, high-quality certificate program, one that will open a wide and ongoing discussion on our collective local and national IPE experiences and challenges—especially regarding students and patients. Currently, the IPEC Planning Committee is working hard to make this online platform a relevant and effective communication channel with positive effects reaching far beyond the Institute.
Further details and a tentative agenda are pending. Early bird registration is open!
