In recognition of the hardships introduced by the COVID-19 pandemic, ADEA has decided that any meetings and conferences it hosts through March 31, 2021 will be virtual.
The decision includes the organization’s flagship event, the 2021 ADEA Annual Session & Exhibition. The 2021 ADEA Annual Session will take place March 13-16 and will be an all-virtual offering.
“We had planned for an in-person conference in Boston next March, but the health risks, economic hardships and logistical complications introduced by the COVID-19 pandemic forced us to rethink our plans,” says Karen P. West, D.M.D., M.P.H., ADEA President and CEO.
“One thing that hasn’t changed is our commitment to deliver an Annual Session in March that will expose you to some of the best minds in dental education,” she says. “The virtual conference will be engaging, creative and interactive. And it will allow you to connect and network with a variety of highly regarded professionals from inside and outside of academic dentistry.”
Though the deadline for program proposals for the 2021 Annual Session & Exhibition has passed, ADEA is still accepting posters and TechExpo proposals until Sept. 7, 2020. Submit today!
