Housing
ADEA has contracted Travel Portland management service to help attendees find the hotel accommodations that best suit their needs. If housing sells out, Travel Portland will recommend available overflow housing that is right for you.
Health and Safety
By participating in this event, you agree to adhere ADEA’s health and safety policies. Failure to adhere to or comply with the safety protocols in place may result in removal from the event and/or event premises.
Be sure to check the 2023 ADEA Annual Session & Exhibition website, adea.org/2023, periodically for the latest conference updates.
Enhanced Cleaning
The 2023 ADEA Annual Session & Exhibition will undertake continuous sanitization and deep cleaning throughout the course of the event to ensure the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness, with a focus on high-touch areas.
Mask Requirements
ADEA will follow all City of Portland, OR specific guidelines regarding COVID-19 protocols. Masks are not required for most indoor settings. Attendees are encouraged to wear masks if they feel more comfortable.
If you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms or are feeling unwell, please do not attend this event.
Personal Hygiene
Hand sanitizing stations will be available throughout the event space. We encourage all attendees to regularly wash and disinfect their hands throughout the conference.
Food and Beverage
Our events team will work closely with venue partners to comply with the highest standard of food safety.
First Aid
All attendees will have access to a qualified first aid professional at a separate isolation area if possible. We ask attendees to stay home and self-isolate if they are feeling unwell or have minor symptoms.
Screening
- ADEA will follow relevant health guidance on screening participants. This may include checking the temperatures of all attendees upon entry to the event, through thermal scanning or other screening processes.
- The Oregon Convention Center has many safety measures in place that align with best practices. Read about their health and safety commitment.
- We will continue to monitor recommendations set forth by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the State of Oregon.
ADEA reserves the right to update this plan, as necessary, in accordance with science and federal, state, local and Oregon Convention Center guidelines.
