    Food and Beverage

Our events team will work closely with venue partners to comply with the highest standard of food safety.

ADEA has contracted a housing management service that will help attendees find the hotel accommodations that best suits their needs. Should hotel rooms sell out, the Resiada service will recommend available overflow housing that is right for you.

Please visit the hotel and travel information page to book your hotel reservation.

For a list of hotel details including amenities, visit the hotel website.

    Health and Safety

Practicing guidelines that raise the bar on safe, hygienic and productive experience at the 2022 ADEA Annual Session & Exhibition is our priority.

Wherever applicable and possible, our events will apply a fuller range of standards and safety guidelines, see examples below.

Please read more information on ADEA’s healthy and safety page.

For more information on the Pennsylvania Convention Center’s health and safety update, visit the venue website.

    Enhanced Cleaning

The 2022 ADEA Annual Session & Exhibition will undertake continuous sanitization and deep cleaning throughout the course of the event to ensure the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness with a focus on high-touch areas.

    First Aid

All attendees will have access to a qualified, first-aid team member at a separate isolation area, if possible. We ask attendees stay home and self-isolate if they are feeling unwell or even have minor symptoms.

    Mask Requirements

Based on the current requirements by the State of Pennsylvania, both vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals must wear masks in all indoor public places.

Masks will be required during all 2022 ADEA Annual Session & Exhibition functions, regardless of location. Masks may only be removed when actively eating or drinking.

    Personal Hygiene

Hand sanitizing stations will be available throughout the event space. We encourage all attendees to regularly wash and disinfect their hands throughout the meeting.

    • ADEA will follow relevant health guidance on screening participants. This may include checking the temperatures of all attendees upon entry to the event, through thermal scanning or other screening processes.
    • The Pennsylvania Convention Center has many safety measures in place that align with best practices. Read about their health and safety commitment.
    • We will continue to monitor recommendations set forth by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the State of Pennsylvania.
    • ADEA reserves the right to update this plan, as necessary, in accordance with science and federal, state, local and Pennsylvania Convention Center guidelines.

    Members’ Forums

All Members’ Forums are virtual this year and are included with the registration.

In March, you will receive an email with technical requirements, log in details and a link to preview the virtual event platform. You can log in with your credentials to update your profile and start planning your schedule. As a reminder, the Members’ Forums content will not be available on demand.

Access to Members’ Forums is possible only by registering for the conference. Please make sure to plan your schedule ahead of time.

    Registration and Cancellation

To make the 2022 ADEA Annual Session & Exhibition as accessible to as many members as possible, for the second year in a row ADEA has discounted conference registration by 25% (early rate) and 20% (regular rate).

Additionally, the cancellation policy waives the $75 processing fee on cancellation requests. These are just a few of actions ADEA is taking to facilitate a smooth return to a face-to-face conference.
