His images have been featured in hundreds of magazines, newspapers, television, features, documentary films, books, school curricula, and blogs around the globe. ADEA Discourse & Dessert
An Evening Plenary on Gender Issues: “Navigating the River”
Speaker: J.C. Hayward

Ms. J.C. Hayward, the first woman news anchor in the Washington, DC, market, will be this year’s featured speaker at An Evening Plenary on Gender Issues: Discourse and Dessert. Ms. Hayward recently celebrated her 36th year at WUSA 9, a record of longevity matched by only one other female anchor in the United States. Ms. Hayward is consistently rated one of the top news broadcasters in DC and was once voted Washingtonian magazine's "Washingtonian of the Year."

Ms. Hayward joins the list of illustrious guest speakers who have addressed ADEA members through ADEA’s Discourse and Dessert over the past 17 years. All ADEA members are invited to engage in dialogue with this great communicator, who will discuss women’s career trajectories and variations on their paths to achievement. Please note, for this event a fee is assessed with registration.
