How much did tuition and fees rise at U.S. medical schools this
year?
This chart shows that average tuition and fees increased by 6.8
percent in 2009-2010 for residents attending public medical
schools. Non-residents paid an additional 5.0 percent. Private
medical school students faced tuition and fee hikes of 4.0 percent
for residents and 4.2 percent for non-residents.
