Journal of Dental Education
The Journal of Dental Education (JDE) is a peer-reviewed monthly journal that publishes a wide variety of educational and scientific research in dental, allied dental and advanced dental education. Published continuously by the American Dental Education Association since 1936 and internationally recognized as the premier journal for academic dentistry, the JDE publishes articles on such topics as curriculum reform, education research methods, innovative educational and assessment methodologies, faculty development, community-based dental education, student recruitment and admissions, professional and educational ethics, dental education around the world and systematic reviews of educational interest. The JDE is one of the top scholarly journals publishing the most important work in oral health education today; it will celebrate its 80th anniversary in 2015.

JDE Online Bonus: Access to 1,000+ journals
The JDE is online through HighWire Press. HighWire hosts more than 1,000 other journals, including the New England Journal of Medicine, the Journal of the American Dental Association (JADA), and the Journal of Dental Research (JDR).
A significant bonus to being an ADEA member and JDE reader is what's known as "Inter-Journal Toll-Free Citation Linking." You may find an article in the JDE and want to pursue the references. If the cited articles are from journals hosted on High Wire, you can read the full text even if you are not a subscriber, provided you follow citation links from the JDE.
The converse is also true. Other journals on HighWire are linked with the JDE. So someone reading the New England Journal of Medicine or the Journal of the American Dental Association, for example, would have direct access to JDE articles cited in those journals.
