National Dental Student Lobby Day
March 28-29, 2011
For a decade now, the ADEA/ASDA National Dental Student Lobby Day on Capitol Hill has been held annually. It has grown to include more than 300 students from dental schools across the country. Students learn about the importance of advocacy from presentations by Members of Congress and staff of the ADEA Center for Public Policy and Advocacy and the American Dental Association.

Deans' Advocacy Day on Capitol Hill
April 3-5, 2011
The 2011 Deans' Advocacy Day on Capitol Hill is jointly hosted by ADEA and the American Association for Dental Research (AADR). This event attracts seasoned advocates as well as novices. Participants have the opportunity to learn from experts how to make the strongest case for dental, allied dental, and advanced dental education and research programs.

ADEA Leadership Institute Legislative Workshop
This one-day workshop in Phase II of the ADEA Leadership Institute provides advocacy training to familiarize future leaders with the legislative and executive branches of government. Since the program’s inception, fellows have been a successful force in promoting ADEA’s legislative agenda. They have participated in more than 300 meetings with Federal legislators or their staff on legislative priorities.
