Fellowship Opportunities for Women

Enid A. Neidle Scholar-In-Residence Program

Through the Enid A. Neidle Scholars Program, a female faculty spends a minimum of three months (cumulative) in residence at the ADEA office in Washington, DC. The fellowship enables a scholar to focus on a broad range of issues facing female faculty members such as promotion, advancement and tenure policies, advanced education and research opportunities, and other gender related issues. While a fellow is in DC, she is exposed to a broad range of activities in progress, including Capitol Hill visits and contact with agencies in the Washington metropolitan area. Eligible applicants are ADEA members who are full-time female faculty with primary teaching appointments in predoctoral and advanced dental educational programs at ADEA member institutions. Junior faculty members are encouraged to apply.
