2017 Call for Nominations for Appointments

The appointments categorized below provide ADEA members significant opportunities for leadership development, service to the profession and understanding and developing national and international policy. Self-nominations are encouraged.

ADEA is currently accepting accept applications for appointments and nominations to a number of ADEA’s committees and task forces as well as to external groups and organizations.


Am I Qualified?

Each committee and task force have specific criteria. If you or someone you know demonstrate the criteria and desired qualifications outlined in each position description, we welcome your application!

All applicants must be current  ADEA members to be eligible for any of these appointments and nominations. In some cases, membership in the American Dental Association (ADA) is also required.

What would be expected of me?

Time commitments are outlined in each position description. Commitments typically range from one to four meetings per year, plus preparation time.  

How do I apply?

Complete the appropriate application based on your category and submit applications to Ms. Monique Morman at mormanm@adea.org.

What is the deadline for submitting applications? 

Applications must be received by August 23. 

What happens after I submit?

After the Call closes, all applications are reviewed by the selection committee. The ADEA Board will determine final appointments and nominations during its September meeting. Appointments and nominations not requiring approval by the ADEA House of Delegates (ADEA HOD) will be announced in October. Those requiring approval by the ADEA HOD will be announced following the 2018 ADEA Annual Session & Exhibition.
