Panel Discussion: What Do the Revised CODA Predoctoral Accreditation Standards Mean to Dental Education? A Look at the Big Picture

Revised Predoctoral Accreditation Standards have been adopted by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA). Right now, conversations are focused on the details of these changes and how they will impact schools’ compliance at accreditation—“the devil’s in the details” approach. But what about the broad implications of the standards? Will these changes force us to go “beyond the crossroads”? This session will focus on implications for the future of dental education, for the students we select, and for the students we graduate and prepare for advanced education.
