ADEA Allied Dental Faculty Leadership Development Program
For more than a decade, ADEA has addressed leadership development through educational programming, with the goal of preparing promising faculty for leadership positions in dental and higher education. ADEA began offering leadership development programming specifically for allied dental educators in June 2002.
If you are an allied dental faculty member who would ultimately like to assume more administrative and leadership responsibilities, or if you are an allied dental program director who would like leadership training, the ADEA Allied Dental Faculty Leadership Development Program (ADEA ADFLDP) is for you. It imparts fundamental knowledge of key leadership principles and practices as they relate to leadership in an allied dental education context.

*You will be assessed a registration fee according to your institution's ADEA membership status. Both the institution and the individual must be members to qualify for the Institutional Member fee.
The ADEA ADFLDP is followed by the 44th Annual National ADEA Allied Dental Program Directors' Conference, which runs from June 11 through June 14. ADEA ADFLDP participants are invited to participate in this conference as well, even if you are not a program director. The conference will be held at the Marriott Harbor Beach. Hotel reservations may be made online directly throught the Marriott Harbor Beach.
Hotel Rate
The room rate will be $159 per single or double occupancy, plus applicable taxes (currently 11%).
Airport
The Marriott Harbor Beach is conventiently located just 15 minutes/6 miles from the Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport (FLL), which is the recommended airport for the conference.
A cab ride from the Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport (FLL) costs approximately $18-20 one-way. Shuttle service is also availabe from the airport.
