The Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) is a movement within education and dental education. Involvement in SoTL can enhance one’s role as an educator. The ADEA SoTLfest at the ADEA Annual Session involves a community of scholars, teachers, and learners who want to discuss ideas, share knowledge, and stimulate thinking. Specific workshops have been selected that focus on exploring key topics in teaching and learning. A track format has been designed to increase interaction and the exchange of ideas.
ADEA SoTLfest participants can be recognized for their participation and professional development. To be eligible for an ADEA SoTLfest Certificate of Recognition, attendees must attend the "Imagine: Elevating Teaching to Recognized Scholarship" Symposium and three other SoTLfest-designated events.
