Global Health Through Women's Leadership
The Fourth ADEA International Women's Leadership Conference will foster global alliances and deliver leadership strategies that women can use to improve oral health and overall health in communities throughout the world. There will be ample opportunities for networking and information exchange during a program of plenary sessions, peer-reviewed oral and poster presentations, working groups, and skills workshops.
The conference is an outstanding opportunity for the presentation and discussion of issues in education, research, and women's health. The Fourth ADEA International Women's Leadership Conference planning committee invites the participation of dental educators, practitioners, health researchers, and policy makers from the global community.

Registration
To register for the meeting, you must have an ADEA username and password. Registration is an online process only.
ADEA members
If you are already an ADEA member, you may proceed to the online registration form and log in with your personal credentials.
Nonmembers
If you are not an ADEA member and would like to register for the conference, proceed to the online registration form and select the option “Click here if you do not have an ADEA username and password.” Complete the online form to create a username and password, select “Submit,” and you will be returned to the registration process.
Hotel Reservations
The conference will be held at the Pestana Bahia Hotel in Salvador, Brazil. Individuals registering for the Fourth ADEA Women's Leadership Conference are eligible for a special ADEA rate for hotel accommodations at the Pestana Bahia Hotel during the period of September 5-8, 2010. The special ADEA rate of R$ 276,00 (Brazilian Reais) is guaranteed for these dates only. The rate may increase for hotel accommodations on dates outside September 5-8, 2010, and availability is not guaranteed.
Complete the Hotel Reservation Form and return via fax to Ms. Renee Latimer at 202-238-3977 no later than June 30, 2010.

Due to specialized and comprehensive visa procedures required to enter Brazil, ADEA strongly encourages attendees of the Fourth ADEA International Women's Leadership Conference to begin the visa application process as soon as possible. Contact your regional Brazil Consulate Office for more detailed information, including appllication form and fees
Panoramic Tour
ADEA has arranged a panoramic tour of the city of Salvador from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. on September 8, 2010. The tour fee is US $94.50. You will appreciate the beauties of the “other city,” Cidade Baixa (low city), where the Itapagipe Peninsula stretches out into the sea, providing stunning views. You will visit the famous Church of Bonfim, where most of the religious manifestations of Bahia happen. Finally, there is a stop at the Mercado Modelo, the biggest market in Bahia, filled with local handicrafts. You may purchase your ticket when registering for the conference.
