ADEA’s Commission on Change and Innovation in Dental Education Summer Liaisons Meeting provides an opportunity for ADEA CCI Liaisons to convene with their colleagues, explore new concepts, and expand their capabilities to serve as change agents in their home institutions.
2012 Program Highlights
- Engage participants in discussions about unique partnerships and collaborative efforts that have been developed at their institutions
- Provide content that will help prepare liaisons to play important leadership roles in facilitating the development of partnerships and collaborations
- Provide opportunities for liaisons to develop team building skills that are an important part of collaborative relationships
Policies for Attendance
Individual membership in ADEA is not required for this meeting. An invitation to attend this meeting is extended to ADEA CCI Liaisons, deans, and academic deans.

Guest Registration
Registration of guests will be limited to one adult guest (18 years or older). A guest is a spouse, partner, friend, or an adult child (18 years of age and over) who is not in a dentistry-related occupation. Co-workers or associates in dental education may not use the guest registration category. The registered adult guest may attend evening receptions provided he or she has paid the guest registration fee. At events where alcohol is served, no one under the age of 21 is permitted.
Hotel
The deadline to make hotel reservations has passed and is subject to hotel availability.
The ADEA CCI conference rate at the Doubletree Hotel Chicago Magnificent Mile is $180 plus tax (15.4%) per room, per night for single and double occupancy. The rate per person, per room for each additional night is $20 plus applicable taxes.
Airport
Chicago-O'Hare International Airport (ORD) is conveniently located just 30 minutes (18 miles) or Chicago Midway (MDW) is 30 minutes (15 miles) from the hotel.
