Criminal Background Check - Message to ADEA PASS Applicants

ADEA PASS provides its participating advanced dental education programs the option to conduct a criminal background check on candidates to whom they have offered admission. This service is voluntary and not all programs utilize it. You should be aware, however, that some programs that you decide to apply to may request a background check upon acceptance.

If you wish to complete the background check before receiving an offer of admission from the advanced dental education programs you apply to, you may initiate the process in the "My Profile" section of your ADEA PASS application by selecting "Request a Background Check" once your application has been submitted to ADEA PASS. This will allow you to see information that will appear on the background check done after offer of admission. Please note that if you opt to complete the background check prior to offer of admission, you will be required to pay for a second check after offer of admission.
