Attributes to be Evaluated
During 2010, ADEA surveyed program directors in all advanced dental education disciplines to ascertain the most important qualities they seek in successful applicants and their reliance on certain applicant characteristics when evaluating candidates for admission at each of three stages of assessment: initial review, interview invitation, and final selection.
ADEA PASS applicants may want to consider these qualities when deciding whom to ask for a Professional Evaluation, and evaluators may find this information useful when composing their evaluations.
Note: ADEA PASS Professional Evaluation Forms are optional, but some programs may recommend or require them. Be sure to check the ADEA PASS Search Engine entries for the programs you are interested in to determine whether you should seek Professional Evaluations to include in your ADEA PASS application.
