New Dental School for 2013 ADEA AADSAS Application cycle
Georgia Health Sciences University - College of Dental Medicine
The Georgia Health Sciences University College of Dental Medicine (GHSU) (formerly Medical College of Georgia) will be accepting ADEA AADSAS applications for the class entering in August 2013.
The GHSU College of Dental Medicine, located 2 ½ hours east of Atlanta, accepted its first class in 1970. After 41 years, a new clinical facility was dedicated in September 2011 with “state of the art” simulation lab and clinics. It is in these clinics that the dental school’s diagonal curriculum continues, as the students are exposed to patient care beginning their sophomore year.
Ultimately, clinical space is available for 100 students per class. Currently, the class size is anticipated to be 80 students comprised primarily of Georgia residents. However, five percent of the class will be students from out of state who prove to be highly competitive. Visit GHSU today for more information. www.georgiahealth.edu/dentalmedicine/
