ADEA AADSAS 2016 Application Cycle
June 2, 2015 - February 1, 2016

The ADEA Associated American Dental Schools Application Service (ADEA AADSAS) is the centralized application service for most U.S. dental schools. ADEA AADSAS simplifies the application process by allowing applicants to complete one standardized application, rather than fill out multiple applications. Dental schools benefit by receiving uniform information on all applicants.

Touro College of Dental Medicine

Situated thirty miles north of New York City on the New York Medical College campus in Westchester County, the new Touro College of Dental Medicine will offer its students a robust educational experience.  The school will be housed in a new state-of-the art clinical facility.  The first- and second-year basic science curriculum will be taught by members of the distinguished New York Medical College faculty, and the pre-clinical dental foundations curriculum will take place in a cutting-edge dental simulation lab designed by experts in the field.  Third- and fourth-year students will develop their clinical skills in a technologically advanced comprehensive practice clinic where they will have hands-on opportunities to practice prevention, diagnosis, and treatment with the latest available digital dentistry tools.  Students of TCDM will also participate in community education, outreach and collaboration within the diverse Westchester community and at affiliated local hospitals as well as participate in emergency preparedness and response training affiliated with New York Medical College.

The new Touro College of Dental Medicine (TCDM) is currently applying to the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) for “initial accreditation status” in anticipation of matriculating its inaugural first year class in July 2016.  Applications for admission will be accepted through ADEA AADSAS for the introductory 2015-16 application cycle and candidates under strong consideration will be interviewed.  However, offers of admission will only be sent out in mid-February 2016 when official approval of “initial accreditation status” is expected from CODA.
