Q: How do I check the status of my application?

A: The easiest way to check your status is to log-in to your application and check the STATUS section. You may also contact ADEA AADSAS Customer Service via email (aadsasinfo@aadsasweb.org) or phone (617) 612-2045.

ADEA AADSAS will correspond with you via email if a problematic situation (e.g., missing or problematic transcript) arises. It is very important you list a current and valid email address on your application.

Q: How will ADEA AADSAS update me on the status of my application?

A: ADEA AADSAS generally sends email messages to you only in the event of problematic application materials. Monitor the STATUS section and "My Messages" in your application frequently.

Q: How can I determine if my transcripts have been received?

A: To view the status of your transcripts after you have created your ADEA AADSAS account:

Log-in to your ADEA AADSAS application;

  • Go to "Transcripts" in the STATUS section of your application. The date of receipt of each of your transcripts is listed. Transcripts are listed even if you have not yet submitted your ADEA AADSAS application.

(ADEA AADSAS is unable to provide information about the status of transcripts received until after you have initiated your ADEA AADSAS application.)

Q: How can I determine if my paper letters of evaluation have been received?

A: To view the status of your letters of evaluation after you have created your ADEA AADSAS account:

Log-in to your ADEA AADSAS application;

  • Go to "Evaluators" in the STATUS section of your application. The date of receipt of each of your letters is listed. Letters are listed even if you have not yet submitted your ADEA AADSAS application.

Q: How can I make sure that my application has been sent to my designated dental schools?

A: To determine when your application information has been made available to your designated dental schools:

Log-in to your ADEA AADSAS application;

  • Go to "Dental School Designations" in the STATUS section of your application. The date mailed indicates the date your application information has been mailed to the dental schools.

Q: How can I determine if my GPA has been calculated?

A: To view your ADEA AADSAS GPAs:

Log-in to your ADEA AADSAS application;

  • Go to "GPA Calculations" in the STATUS section of your application. If you do not see any information, your GPA has not been calculated.

Q: I have submitted all required materials to ADEA AADSAS, but the status section indicates that my application is still not mailed. What should I do?

A: Please allow approximately two weeks from the date you submitted application materials for that information to be posted on the status section. If a substantial period of time has elapsed and your status has not changed, contact ADEA AADSAS Customer Service at (617) 612-204 or email aadsasinfo@aadsasweb.org.

Q: My application has been mailed to my designated dental schools. Why have I not received a response from them?

A: Depending on individual school policies and procedures, it may take several weeks for a dental school to contact you about your application. Be sure to send supplemental applications, additional letters of evaluation, and/or other materials requested directly to the school as required.

Q: My School decision status has not changed in the ADEA AADSAS status section since it was received by my designated dental schools. What should I do?

A: After your application is sent to the dental schools, the schools have the option of providing ADEA AADSAS information about the decision status of your application at their school. If the school(s) provides that information, your decision status will be updated in "School Decisions" in the status section of your application. However, not all schools provide this information.

If you have been in touch with your designated dental schools and are comfortable with the information they have provided you about your status, you do not have to do anything else. Otherwise, you may want to contact your designated school(s) to discuss your application status.

Q: When will my application be mailed to my designated dental schools?

A: Generally, your application will be mailed to the schools approximately 4-6 weeks after your application has been submitted; ADEA AADSAS has received all official transcripts and your application fee. If you are experiencing delays beyond 6 weeks, contact ADEA Customer Service (617) 612-2045 or email aadsasinfo@aadsasweb.org for assistance.
