Q: My credit card was declined. What do I do?

A: If your credit card is declined, you will not be permitted to eSubmit your application. Instead, you will be given the option to either: a) submit new credit card information or b) pay by personal check or money order. Your application will not be processed until payment has been received.

A: No. ADEA AADSAS does not accept credit payments by phone.

Q: How do I pay my application fee with a check or money order?

Q: Can I change my payment option from check or money order to credit card once I have entered my payment information and e-submitted my application?

A: No. Once you have selected to pay by check or money order and have e-submitted your application, you cannot change your payment option to pay by credit card. However, if your credit card is declined, you will be given the option to either submit another credit card or submit payment by check/money order.

Q: Is there a refund for the ADEA AADSAS application?

A: No, ADEA AADSAS does not offer refunds after your application has been submitted.

Q: Is there a fee waiver for the ADEA AADSAS application?

A: ADEA AADSAS has established the Fee Assistance Program (FAP), which provides financial assistance to dental school applicants with extreme financial hardship. The Fee Assistance Program is designed for those who show an extreme need for financial assistance, and eligibility for FAP is determined by reviewing the financial resources of the applicant, spouse, and parents of the applicant (where applicable).

As a general guide, you may wish to apply for fee assistance if your annual income level is within the U.S. Bureau of Census' low-income threshold for your family's size.  Not everyone who submits a FAP application will qualify for one.  The fee waiver is applied to ADEA AADSAS application fees only. Applicants are only allowed to apply to one dental school while applying to FAP. The fee waiver does not cover fees for additional dental school designations.  If the applicant applies to more than one dental school while applying to the fee assistance program, the FAP application will automatically be denied, no exceptions.  If approved for FAP, ADEA AADSAS will waive the first dental school designation in the amount of $244.00.

Detailed information about the ADEA AADSAS Fee Assistance Program can be found in the General Instruction in the ADEA AADSAS application.

Q: Which credit cards does ADEA AADSAS accept?

A: ADEA AADSAS accepts: American Express, Discover, MasterCard, and Visa.

Q: I submitted my application and now want to apply to additional schools. What is the fee to apply to additional designations?

A: The fee for all additional designations is $90.
